A Little About Me…

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 17 years working behind the camera in the motion picture industry as a Local 80 grip and over a decade cooking in restaurants. I know the pressure, unpredictability, and burnout that can come with creative careers, and what it’s like to start over. I changed careers in my late thirties, and that experience helps me connect with clients navigating transitions, identity shifts, and the question of “what’s next?”

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. I’m trained in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and a certified ADHD clinical services provider (ADHD-CCSP). I specialize in ADHD treatment for teens and adults, couples therapy, and working with clients in the entertainment industry.

My style is collaborative, culturally affirming, and grounded in attachment theory. That means we’ll examine how the quality of your childhood relationship with the person(s) who raised you shaped how you relate to others and yourself. This will help you build insight into ineffective patterns while you create more fulfilling, authentic connections. In our sessions, you can expect a down-to-earth, supportive space where your unique identity, creativity, and personal goals are honored.
