Before becoming a marriage and family therapist, I spent over 17 years behind the scenes of the film/TV and music festival industry working as an electrician, stage builder, and IATSE Local 80 grip.
I know the pressure, unpredictability, and burnout that come with creative careers, including what it’s like to start over. I built a second career in my late thirties, which allows me to connect deeply with clients navigating transitions, identity shifts, and the nagging question…
What’s next?
I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. I’m trained in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and a certified ADHD clinical services provider (ADHD-CCSP). I specialize in ADHD treatment for teens and adults, couples therapy, and working with members of the entertainment industry. I’m also in-network with Optum (MPI).
My style is warm, direct, and grounded in attachment theory. That means we’ll examine how the quality of your childhood relationship with the person(s) who raised you shaped how you relate to others and yourself. This will help you build insight into ineffective patterns while you create more fulfilling, authentic connections. In our sessions, you can expect a down-to-earth, supportive space where your unique identity, creativity, and personal goals are honored.
